Brown
March 19, 1958 – October 20, 2023
Joseph A. Brown, 65, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Joe was born March 19, 1958 on St. Joseph's Feast day. He graduated from New Bremen High School, and then the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and a leader within Rekindle the Fire, and the Diocesan Men's Conference. He was a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and served on the stewardship committee, servant-leadership group and was a Homebound Minister of the Eucharist.
Joe worked 22 years at GlaxoSmithKline and finished his career as a consultant pharmacist at InTouch Pharmaceuticals. He was a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Indiana Pharmacists Alliance, and a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist.

He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Toni and Ray Ohlman.

Joe touched so many people throughout his life, personally and professionally. He had an abundance of energy to serve others; patients, colleagues, friends and family. He had a gift for investing in individual relationships and finding ways to inspire groups. He loved his roles with the Cavemen, Sheepdogs and as a Diaconate formation classmate. Whether he was organizing the men's conference with the core team or hosting a training with his co-workers, he was full of life and love in every role.
Joe loved to golf with his brothers, play with his grandkids and spend time with his wife. He loved travel, music, reading, Indiana basketball and Ohio State football. Most of all he loved people and sharing the love of Jesus with each encounter. He reminds us all that we are loved, never alone and so blessed to know the love of the Father.
