Juan R. Garcia, lovingly known as "John," was born on December 22, 1963, and passed away on November 9, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a brief and aggressive battle with illness. Though well-traveled and full of life experiences, John was a proud Fort Wayne native, North Side graduate and a true pillar of his community.

As a dedicated business owner, John helped countless families realize their dreams-always with generosity, integrity, and a deep commitment to giving back. Though he built successful careers in numerous industries including automotive and real estate, his impact reached far beyond his professional life. He was a devoted fiancé, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend. Those who knew him best will remember his warmth, loyalty, and the way he treated friends like family.

John is survived by his beloved fiancée, Lisa; his children, Cruz, Connor, and Carissa; his grandchildren, Emma and Ava; his daughter-in-law, Deanna; his siblings, Alex, Criss, Rebeca, Stacie, Darcie, and Angie; his stepmother, Maria; and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom he cherished deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan R. Garcia, and his mother, Stephanie Aldrich.

John found joy in the outdoors-especially hunting and traveling-and treasured the simple moments with his family, dogs, and neighbors. Whether sharing a laugh on the porch or lending a hand to someone in need, he lived with heart, purpose, and an unwavering love for the people close to him.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Visitation will also be 2-4 and 6-8pm, Monday, December 8, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 1986 W. Cedar Canyons Road, Huntertown, IN 46748 with a Rosary service at 1:30 pm and Celebration of Life service at 7:30pm.
