Judith "Judy" Mae Jenkins, age 89, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026.  Born on March 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Romary) Waltke.  She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.  Judy married Carl Jenkins on July 14, 1962, and they had 63 wonderful years together until Carl's passing in 2025.  Judy worked as a teller supervisor at Lincoln and Wells Fargo for over 24 years until her retirement in 1998.

When not working, Judy enjoyed traveling, playing golf and playing cards, especially bridge.  She was even awarded the Silver Life Master Bridge League award for her skills in 2004.  Judy was her children's and grandchildren's number one fan, as she attended all their sports activities.  She most enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.  Judy  was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David (Julie) Jenkins, Richard (Tamara) Jenkins,  Michael (Shelli) Jenkins, and John (Jenni) Jenkins; grandchildren, Cory Jenkins, Matthew (Kelly) Jenkins, Christopher (Emily) Jenkins, Kathryn (Reggie) Davis, Daniel Jenkins, Kalie (Pierce) Scott, Josh (Jada Brown) Jenkins, and Aaron Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Rylee, Sullivan, Charlie, and one on the way; sister-in-law, Pat Waltke; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Judy was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jenkins; her parents; and brothers, Jack and Bob Waltke.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, January 30, 2026, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd. with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home 3500 Lake Ave. with a Rosary recited at 3:30pm.
