Hemsoth
June 19, 1938 – August 10, 2024
Juliana Teresa Hemsoth, age 86, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at her home. Born on June 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Evelyn (DeLaGrange) Albright. Raised in Fort Wayne, Juliana was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1956. She worked in accounting for Lincoln Life for 19 years until her retirement. When not working, Juliana enjoyed crocheting, playing golf, bowling, reading, and music. She loved being a grandmother and was very proud of all her grandchildren. She especially liked to crochet special items for each grandchild. Faith was important to Juliana and central to her life. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Fort Wayne and enjoyed singing in the St. Henry's choir.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mike (Christine) Smith, Cindy (Dan) Phillips, Greg (Janette) Smith, and Curt Hemsoth; grandchildren, Charles, Shawn, Joseph, Shannon, and Danny Sr.; great-grandchildren, Danny Jr., Landon, and Leilah; and several nieces and nephews. Juliana was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hemsoth; her parents; brothers, Tony and Bobby; and her sister, Diane.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will occur following the funeral service at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials can be written for Mass Intentions at St. Henry Catholic Church and to Cancer Services of NE Indiana in Juliana's name.
