Kathryn G. Washburn, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Friday June 26, 2026. She was born in Chicago on October 19, 1949, the daughter of (the late) William and Lillian (Hoffman) Washburn.

Kathryn resided in North Carolina for a number of years and enjoyed a successful career as a surgical technician for Duke University Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Kelly of Fort Wayne; son, Matthew McGinley of Durham NC; daughter, Kaitlin McGinley of Charlotte NC and 4 grandchildren.
