Kathleen R. Lopez, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Monday October 27, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Kathy was born in Fort Wayne on March 2, 1960, the daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth (Brennen) Bailey.

Kathy was a talented artist who loved to paint and draw; she enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and a good backyard BBQ, and her greatest joy came from the times she spent at gatherings of family & friends.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Lopez and Samantha Wagner; grandchildren, Devyn Yancey, Liam Thompson and Ayla Thompson; great-granddaughter, Demila Yancey; sisters, Michele (Mike) McCarthy, Mary Anne Bailey, Theresa Bailey (who is Kathy's twin), Susan Bailey and Carole Bailey.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, David Lopez, on May 30, 2025.

Funeral Services 1:00pm Saturday November 1, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave, with visitation from 12-1pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
