Obituary

Kenneth J. Lehto, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday January 23, 2024. Ken was born in Virginia MN on August 6, 1949, the son of John A. and Teenie (Perkio) Lehto. He earned his engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and on August 28, 1970, Ken married Mary (Johnson) Lehto, who survives along with their children, Ann (Fred, Jr.) Fulkerson of Fort Wayne, Alissa (Scott Hoffman) Lehto-Hoffman of Winamac, Stephanie Lehto of Fort Wayne, and grandchildren, Jacob Hoffman, Amelia Hoffman and Benji Allen.

Ken was a senior software engineer at Raytheon, retiring in 2017 after 40 years with the company. He was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, and he enjoyed reading, later audio books, sudoku puzzles and watching the magic of Penn & Teller and other magicians. He was an avid fan of Gophers football and basketball at the University of Minnesota, as well as the Minnesota Vikings, but the greatest joy in Ken's life were his family & friends and he actively supported his grandchildren in their sports programs and events.

Ken will be inurned in Catholic Cemetery with a committal service to be held at 2:30pm Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave.
