Kenneth J. Stabler, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday September 26, 2024 at Byron Wellness Community. Ken was born in Payne OH on February 4, 1948, the son of (the late) Cletus Stabler and Teresa (Chomey) Stabler. He served his country with honor, in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Ken married Diana (Williamson) Stabler on October 9, 1971; she survives after 52 years of marriage. Also surviving are sons, David Stabler and Robert (Jessica) Stabler; daughter, Gretchen Stabler; grandchildren, Lavell Stabler, Cory Stabler, Chad Stabler, Cassidy Stabler, and Xander Stabler; step-grandchildren, Brooke Kaiser, Eli Kaiser, Savan Kaiser and Ava Kaiser, and great-granddaughter, Avery Stabler, all of Fort Wayne; sister Rita (Winston) Gross and brother, Paul (Glenna) Stabler, both of Payne OH.

In addition to his parents, Ken was also preceded in death by his brother, Ed Stabler and his sister, Joan Proxmeier.

Ken retired from BF Goodrich after 37 years with the company. He enjoyed attending auctions, travelling and tending to his garden.

Funeral Services 11:00am Thursday October 3, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation from 10-11am. Visitation also on Wednesday from 4-8pm.
