Kevin L.
Moore, II
December 9, 1982 – March 17, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kevin L. Moore II, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Born on December 9, 1982, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kevin left us peacefully on March 17, 2026, at the age of 43.
Kevin was the proud owner/operator of Rescue Lawn Improvement, a business that reflected his passion for nature and hard work. He had a knack for making lawns look beautiful and enjoyed every moment spent outdoors.
The best way to describe Kevin and his colorful life is to share some of his characteristics. Kevin was known for his “legendary hair” and his awesome trucks. Kevin had a way of getting into unique shenanigans, whether it be driving a car into a pond or getting into trouble with the police for massive, unsanctioned fireworks displays.
Did someone say party…. Kevin was always “down to party” especially if it involved tattooing, branding, or cutting. He was also known for his inappropriate jokes in front of the children. He used sarcasm as a second language and had the best raised eyebrow around. Some of his obsessions include always smelling good and making sure everything else did too. Lighting was another obsession-up lighting, down lighting, lamps, lights always on!
If you knew Kevin, you knew he had your back, no matter what. He was always there to help. No one knows this better than his family and friends.
His love for family was unmatched. Kevin is survived by his wonderful wife, Megan Moore, who was his partner in life and love. Their children, Kaden, Jayce & Beckam Moore were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Kevin L. Moore, and Blaise B. (Folds) Moore, his sister Krysten (Jason) Ebert, and his brother Anthony "Tony" (Kala) Moore.
To celebrate Kevin's life, a Funeral Mass will take place at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 518 E. DeWald St., Fort Wayne, IN 46803, on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon, following a public visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the same location. Arrangements were made at Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons in Huntertown, IN. Kevin did not want his family and friends to wear black to his funeral. Dress how you want to dress, and make sure there are colors! Everyone who knows Kevin is welcome to join us in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the joy he brought into our lives.
