Kimberly Diane Cochran, age 43, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at home due to a rapidly progressing illness. Born July 15, 1982, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward and Denise (Crouch) Cochran. Kimberly loved hosting family and friends and planning menus for the holidays and birthdays. A wiz in the kitchen, she most enjoyed preparing good meals for those she knew. She loved her family dearly, and she was most proud of being an aunt and great aunt. Kim, as most called her, loved a good chat to catch up, listening to music and karaoke and dancing with family in the kitchen, and keeping up on the latest movies and television shows.

Loved by so many, Kimberly is survived by her parents, four siblings, Brian Cochran of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Jamie (Andrew Smith) Cochran-Smith of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Leslie Cochran of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Courtney (Tyler) Miller of Harlan, Indiana, nieces, Addison Cochran and Ariana Cochran, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, great nephew, Luka Cochran-Jackson, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A public visitation will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46805. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 2:00 pm. A private burial will immediately follow at Catholic Cemetery.
