It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristy Lynn Imbimbo, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and nurse, at the age of 46. Kristy was born on October 14, 1978, in Danville, Indiana, and passed away on October 31, 2024, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, due to natural causes.

Kristy dedicated her life to the field of nursing, where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a nursing home. She touched the lives of many with her compassionate care and unwavering dedication to her patients.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her daughters, Kayla (Sam) Cook and Katelyn Hatcher, four grandchildren, Charlotte, Vivian, Lucy, and Benjamin Cook, parents, Thomas Imbimbo and Janice (Moulin) Imbimbo, sisters, Kimberley (Nathan) Becker, Kelly (Jason) Mahoney, and brother, Nicholas Imbimbo. She is also survived by 6 nephews and 2 nieces.  Kristy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Kristy's life will be held at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN. at 10:30 am on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the mass. Niche placement will take place at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
