It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Larry Leroy Wortinger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us peacefully on June 23, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on October 24, 1943, in Goshen, IN, to Junior Leroy and Arlios (Bleile) Wortinger. Larry married Zoe Ann (Diffendarfer) Wortinger in Fort Wayne, IN. Larry spent his life dedicated to family and his work as an electrical engineer in the military sector.

Larry was known for his sharp mind and unwavering work ethic, earning his bachelor's degree and making significant contributions to his field. He was passionate about his work, and his colleagues admired his expertise and commitment.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Zoe Ann Wortinger, and sons; Bryan L. (J.R.) Wortinger and Shawn P. (Carrie) Wortinger, and two grandsons; Dakota and Jacob Wortinger. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother and a sister.

The family will gather privately later for services.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Larry's kindness, intelligence, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
