Latrice Marie Salley, age 53, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Born in Chicago, IL on September 23, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Herman Pollard and Mary Ann Boyd. Latrice enjoyed dancing, cleaning, cooking for her family, and taking care of others. She was family oriented and loved spending time with her daughters and great-nephews and nieces. Latrice will be remembered for her honest character. She was a woman of strong faith and a true believer in the Lord. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kenyatta Hillard, Shampree Hillard, and Jessica Ross; brothers, William Boyd, Nelson (Chandra) Hawkins, Dennis Salley, Robert Salley, and Nolan; and sisters, Keyna Salley, Nicole Pollard, and Danielle Pollard. Latrice was preceded in death by her parents; her son, LaFate Stewart; brother, Lonnie; and sister, Deanna Pollard.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne at the conclusion of the funeral service.
