Laura M. Miller. 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

She was born in Fort Wayne on May 30, 1933 to the late William and Ethel (Fey) Gottfried.

Laura attended both Northside and Central High School.

On December 1, 1951, in Fort Wayne, she married the love of her life, Donald J. Miller.

Mrs. Miller retired in 1995 after 30 years from Kroger.

She was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Laura was also a volunteer for more than 20 years at the Saint Mary's Soup Kitchen.

In her free time, Laura enjoyed trips to the casino; but, she was most passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her loving husband of 72 years, Donald; children, Donald K. (Jan) Miller, Rhonda Zollinger, and Nancy Henline; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; and a brother, James "Jim" Gottfried.

Also preceding her in death were son, Gregory Miller; and siblings, Sharon, Ruth, Phyllis, Gary, Arthur, Eugene, and Harry.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Entombment will follow the service at Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
