Linda Lou Wilson, 85, passed peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, in Delray Beach, Florida. Born June 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Anna (Baumgartner) McKean. Linda married Philip J. Wilson on July 29, 1968. He proceeded her in death on October 30, 2020.

Linda graduated from Adams Central High School in Monroe, Indiana in 1957. She retired from North American Van Lines. She was a loving wife and devoted mother of two children and six stepchildren. Linda valued time with her family, fishing with Phil and friends, going to "buy a new pair of moccasins" (that's code for the casino), crocheting, making baby blankets, and attending to her flowers. She lived a very full and rewarding life.

Linda is survived by her children, Michelle Wilson, Mike (Lisa) Wilson; stepchildren, Jerry (Connie) Wilson, Cathy (Gary) Platt, Cindy (Norm) Hesterman, Lori Fisher, and Lisa Samra; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Doris Hunt and Kathy (Brent) Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Phil Wilson; sisters, Carol Bieberich and Betty Zerby; and stepson, Steve Wilson.

The visitation will be at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne on Saturday, November 2, 2024, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Services of NE Indiana https://www.cancer-services.org/.
