Lucinda “Cindy” Kay (Hoeppner) Hartman, age 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at St. Anne Home and Retirement Community.

Born on August 9, 1948, in Woodburn, Indiana, Cindy was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Ruth (Horn) Hoeppner. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and community, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue through her many descendants.

She is survived by her children: Michele (Thomas) Guin, Matthew (Adora) Hartman, Mindyann (Nehemiah) Meadows, and Marcus (Rachel) Hartman; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hartman; her son, Marty Hartman; her parents; and her brother, Michael Hoeppner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the service to follow. Interment will take place at the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Cindy found comfort and strength in the words of the 23rd Psalm: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul…”

May she now rest forever in those green pastures with her Lord and her beloved family.
