Luella M. Kleinrichert, 97, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community.

She was born on October 13, 1926 in Fort Wayne to the late Arthur A. and Esther (Wyss) Bobay.

Luella was a 1944 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

On September 6, 1947 She married the love of her life, Justin Kleinrichert. He preceded her in death in 2016.

Luella was a dedicated homemaker, always putting her family first. Together with Justin, they raised six beautiful children.

She was an active member of Saint Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Church where she was a volunteer in the office, a Lector, and Eucharistic Minister. Once she moved in to Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community she maintained a very active life, even becoming President of the Resident's Council.

She is survived by her children, Leslie (Patricia) Kleinrichert, Bernadette (Donald) Bauman, Phyllis Fish, Justine (John) Mullaney, Lisa (Michael) Moore, and Gary (Stephanie) Kleinrichert; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Violet (Maurice) Linder.

Also preceding her in death were siblings, Arthur (Joyce) Bobay, Theresa (Richard) Borden; and son-in-law, Michael Fish.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Saint Joseph Hessen Cassel, 11337 US Highway 27, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 4:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Hessen Cassel Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Saint Joseph Catholic Church Capital Improvement Fund or Masses to be Celebrated in Luella's Name.
