Lynne R. Bowland, 70, of New Haven, died Monday December 18, 2023. She was born August 8, 1953 in Springfield IL, the daughter of (the late) Raymond A. and Naomi (Lutz) Minden. A Norwell High School graduate, she worked in the marketing dept. at Lincoln Life and retired in 2014 after 35 years with the company. Lynne married Stephen M. Bowland on August 24, 2002 and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2020. Lynne enjoyed travelling, especially to warm places, just having fun, hanging out with friends at a party, or occasionally trying her luck at gambling, but her biggest joy in life was her family, and she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Lynne is survived by her sons, Ryan (Lori) Minden of New Haven and Scott (Kim) Bowland of Fort Wayne, and her grandchildren, Reece and Hannah Minden, Charlotte, Reagan and Mason Bowland, and Morgan (John) Stump. In addition to her parents and her husband Steve, Lynne was also preceded by her grandson, Carter Minden and her brother, Robert "Roby" Minden. Funeral Services 3:00pm Thursday December 21, 2023 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation on Thursday from 1-3pm in the funeral home.
