Madonna R. Everson, 96, of Fort Wayne, died Friday November 21, 2025. She was born December 4, 1928 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Vachon) Jordan. She graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '46 and later married Chester M. "Max" Everson, who preceded her in death in 2016 after 69 years of marriage.
Madonna was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception; she was a homemaker; wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family & friends. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Alan) Duff, Linda Everson and Kenneth Everson, all of Ft Wayne; Diana (Brad) Goss of Colorado Springs CO and Carrie (David) Ohnesorge of Kelso WA; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband Max, Madonna was also preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Crabill and Marguerite Jordan, and her brother, Donald Jordan.
Funeral Services 2:00pm Friday November 28, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Visitation on Friday is 12-2pm in the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. The family's preferred memorial is the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Fort Wayne, online at https://svdpsfw.org, or by mail to 1600 S. Calhoun St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
