It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcia L. Leffers, who left us peacefully on January 27, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on June 18, 1933, in Indianapolis, IN, to Raymond and Mabel (Carter) Means. Marcia married LeRoy Leffers and later had a daughter, Karen Leffers. Taking care of Karen was Marcia and LeRoy's life devotion. She spent her life in the loving embrace of family and friends, making Fort Wayne, IN her home.

Marcia had a successful career as an accounting clerk at North American Van Lines, where she was respected for her dedication and sharp mind. She took great pride in her work and often shared stories about her time at the trucking company.

Marcia's legacy will live on through her beloved family, Thomas (Ann) Means, Arthur Means, and several nieces and nephews, who cherished the special bond they shared. As we remember Marcia, we will hold dear the sense of humor, wisdom, and kindness she brought into our lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LeRoy, daughter Karen Leffers, and a brother, Raymond Means.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a public visitation, which will take place at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on January 31, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the same location at 10:30 AM, as we gather to honor and celebrate Marcia's life. She will be laid to rest in an entombment ceremony at Concordia Cemetery & Cremation Gardens, 5365 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
