Marclyn D. Filler, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

She was born in Fort Wayne on May 30, 1929 to the late Jessie and Lucielle (Kratzman) Batchelder.

Marclyn was a 1948 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

On June 14, 1950 in Fort Wayne, she married the love of her life, Arlin Filler. He preceded her in death in 2021.

Mrs. Filler worked as a waitress and hostess for Goegleins, retiring after 43 years.

She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Marclyn enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was an active member in the Kin Club. Later in life she enjoyed going on girls trips to the Wagon Wheel Theatre and having lunch with the Goegleins' Girls. Above all else, Marclyn loved being with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Virginia) Filler, Craig (Gloria) Filler and Jeffrey (Denise) Filler; siblings, Larry and Patricia; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her daughter, Arlene; and siblings, John, Steve and Jerry.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community, 1900 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary Beginning at 2:45 p.m. Entombment will follow the Funeral Mass at Catholic Cemetery.
