Marie Tippmann, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on July 18, 1941 in Québec to the late Louis and Marie-Anne (Morin) Bouchard.

She married Donald Tippmann in 1970 in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec.

Mrs. Tippmann was a homemaker and greatly loved caring for children and her family.

Marie enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and traveling, especially taking cruises.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald; children, Mark and Joe; siblings, Roland and Odette; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, John (Jackie) Tippmann, Ginney (Dave) Perkins; Helen (Mac) McCarthy, Nancy (Steve) Henry, Barbara, Lois, Mary Lawrence, Mary Beth, Laurel, and Marilyn Tippmann; and many nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Larry, Tony, Robert, Joseph, Thomas, Dennis, Carol, Sally, Vincent, Eugene, and Mary Ann.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September, 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo, 4916 Trier Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with a rosary being recited at 3:45 p.m.
