Mark Jude Venderley, 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 15, 2023. He was born in Fort Wayne on September 16, 1952, the son of the late Paul and Joan (Bobay) Venderley. Mark's faith was a very important part of his life. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and also attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mark attended Bishop Luers High School and received his Master of Fine Arts from IU-Bloomington in 1992. Mark was an Art Teacher with North Adams Community Schools for 20 years. He also taught evening art classes at IPFW for a short time. Mark enjoyed playing music and was well-versed in many instruments and especially enjoyed playing the drums. He enjoyed working with his hands with many different hobbies. His favorite art medium was creating ceramic and sculpture art. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and especially enjoyed going to Pokagon State Park over 4th of July. He also enjoyed boating and being on the water. Mark is survived by his wife of 38 years , Cindy Venderley; his son, Justin (Amy) Venderley; his brothers, Dave (Carole) Venderley, Phil (Kathy) Venderley, Pete (Pam) Venderley; his sister, Teresa (Kurt) Henry, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Paul Venderley (2017) and sister-in law Theresa Venderley (2018). The Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Friday October 20, 2023, in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46815, with visitation from 9:30-10:30am Friday in the church. Visitation is also from 4-8pm Thursday October 19, 2023, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
