Marsha Ann Smith, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Marsha was born in Fort Wayne on March 8, 1947, the daughter of (the late) Emmett and Ann (Pope) Bogdon. She graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '65 and had retired from Scott's/Kroger after 20 years with the company and previously from the Underwriting Dept. at Lincoln Life after 37 years.

Marsha married Michael C. Smith on September 5, 1970; he survives after 53 years of marriage, along with a daughter, Michelle (Mark) Vincent; grandchildren, Samuel Vincent and Henry Vincent, all of Fort Wayne; her sisters, Judith (Vincent) Formanek of Hillside IL, and Linda (Richard) Shively of Fort Wayne, and her brother, Emmett (Maureen) Bogdon of Fort Wayne.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marybeth Smith and an infant son, Michael Smith.

Marsha enjoyed attending Mass at St. Vincent DePaul Parish; she cherished the time she spent with family & friends, baking, shopping, reading and occasionally trying her luck at one of the casinos. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday June 28, 2024, in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd. with visitation from 10:00-11:00am at the church.
