Obituary

Mary A. Didion, 80, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. Mary was born June 24, 1943, in Fort Wayne and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was the manager and hairdresser at the Cottage Styling Salon. Mary was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Rosary Society, and she enjoyed crafting, painting, card making and collecting anything Disney. Those that knew Mary knew someone that was quick-witted, hysterically outspoken, and sincere. Mary is survived by her sisters, Helen Didion and Suzanne (Thomas) Pierce; her nieces, Jennifer (Joe) Ott and Kristie (Tom Husmann) Toms; her great nieces, Erin Ott, Allison Martin, and Kelly Ott; and her great nephew Sam Martin. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Marie Didion.

Mary's Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2024, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be held 2:00- 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a Rosary service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
