Mary Ann Knight Williams, 69, of Bloomington died January 14, 2024, at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House as her family serenaded her with songs from her youth. Mary Ann was born September 28, 1954, in Fort Wayne, to the late Frank W. and Patricia A. (Meiners) Knight. Mary Ann is survived by two brothers, David F. (Kate) Knight, Kevin R. (Lisa) Knight; two sisters, Kathleen D. (Steve) Weller, Joann M. (Tom) Barnhill. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. "Bob" Williams. Mary Ann was a very thoughtful and loving person, never forgetting anyone's birthday or special event. She was a crafter, hard worker, friend to many and a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews. Mary Ann competed in the Special Olympics in her younger years and earned a Certificate as a Special Education Aide from the State of Wisconsin. She found joy in simple pleasures and silver linings in the darkest of clouds. Strong in her faith and love of God, and with a heart of gold, Mary Ann was special from the day she was born. She is now a beautiful soul in heaven who will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 20, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, preceded by visitation at 1:00 pm.
