Mary Ann Creigh, 93, passed away peacefully at her home on March 25 with family by her side. She was born May 21, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Ralph and Marie (Birchmeier) Hess and was a 1949 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She married the love of her life, William P. Creigh, on June 14, 1952. The two of them started a roofing and sheet metal business together. William passed away in 1983, and Mary Ann retired from the business, WPC Inc., in 1993. She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also loved traveling and had a large soft spot in her heart for all animals, especially cats. Mary Ann is survived by her children; Cris (Philip) LaBlonde, William (Beth) Creigh Jr., Thomas (Kathy) Creigh, James (Charlie) Creigh, Ann Heiman, and Amy (Chantel) Creigh, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and her beloved cat Sam. She was preceded in death by her brother Ralph and sister Delores, her husband William, and a granddaughter, Lauren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Friday April 11, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, with calling 1 hour prior to Mass from 10:00am to 11:00am. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials may be made in her honor to Humane Fort Wayne or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School for student education assistance.
