Mary Catherine "Kay" Miller, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024.

She was born on October 24, 1931 in New Haven to the late Robert Leo and Genevieve Margarite (Ternet) Vachon Sr.

On April 25, 1953 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Haven, she married the love of her life, Thomas A. Miller. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2007.

Together with Thomas, they owned and operated Tama Inc.

She is survived by her children, Catherine Ann (Ron) Duchovic, Carol (Steven) Sternberger, and Michele T. Miller; grandchildren, Erik Sternberger, Nicole Lewis, and Joel Blair; great-grandchildren, Jadea Blair, Kae-lani Blair, Madison Lewis, and Bennett Lewis; and a sister, Genevieve Orr.

Also preceding her in death were a grandson, Michael Blair; and siblings, Robert, Raymond, Marie, Liz, Carolyn, and Mille.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home. 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.

Kay requested that everyone wear colorful clothing to show the beautiful colors of the Earth and sow the seeds of Love.
