Matthew J. Miller, 58, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday April 19, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital. Matt was born in Fort Wayne on January 20, 1968, the son of (the late) Samuel J. and Nola K. “Kathleen” Miller. He graduated from Wayne High School and continued his studies at Purdue University, where he earned his Master’s degree. Matt became a teacher and taught at Village Woods Elementary and Prince Chapman Academy, before a change of careers led him to his current employment with Brothers Express Inc. Matt cherished the time he spent with family & friends, playing chess or going for walks in the park with the dogs. He enjoyed vacations, travelling, and was also an avid Komet Hockey fan, attending the games whenever possible or watching on FloSports. Matt is survived by his wife Charlene; and his brother Kevin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Samantha and Amanda. In accordance with Matt’s wishes, there are no services currently scheduled.
