Matthew D.
Woodrum
November 18, 1994 – December 21, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Matthew Dominic Woodrum, who left us on December 21, 2024, at the age of 30. Born on November 18, 1994, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Steven and Karen (Palumbo) Woodrum.
Matthew was an amazing son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was loyal, reliable and protective to those he loved and showed it through quality time spent with them. He was also the most thoughtful gift giver finding just the right gift for each person. Matt had a kind soul and was a friend to everyone. His smile when he greeted strangers would light up their faces.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Purdue University and dedicated his professional life to technical support, working for Siemens Building Division in the building automation industry. His expertise and warm demeanor made him not only a valuable employee but also a friend to many. He was passionate about computer games, euchre and board games. He enjoyed competing with family and friends. He treasured his nieces and enjoyed spending time with them.
Matthew is survived by his parents; and his sister, Stephanie (Bret) Angel. He is also survived by his grandmother, Lea Woodrum, his nieces, Laina & Anna, several aunts, uncles and cousins and several very close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Cedar Canyons Rd., Huntertown, IN, on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 3-8:00pm, with a rosary prayed at 3:30pm. His Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Rd., Ft. Wayne, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 am, with a visitation for one hour prior to the mass. A niche placement will take place at a later date.
