Michael D. Brinker, age 84, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Born on December 21, 1939, he was the son of the late Ed and Alice (Wheeler) Brinker.  Michael was raised in Willard, OH and was a graduate of Willard High School.  He worked as an engineer for R.R. Donnelley & Sons until his retirement.  When not working, Michael enjoyed gardening, and later in life he developed a passion for painting, completing many acrylic paintings now treasured by his family.  Family was very important to Michael, and he loved being a grandfather and great-grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael R. (Christina) Brinker; grandchildren, Ashley (Scott) Fischer and Megan Brinker; great-grandchildren, Tate and Rhett Fischer; and sister, Judy (Gerry) Wondrack.  Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Janet Brinker; his parents; and siblings, Edwina and John.
