Michael R. Flaherty, 73, of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Life Care Center of Fort Wayne. Michael was born March 2, 1950, in Urbana, Illinois, the son of the late Robert A. and Katherine E. (Jauquet) Flaherty. Michael was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and served in US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a delivery driver for the Perfection Bakery for 29 years. Michael is survived by two sons, Matthew and Michael Flaherty; two daughters, Erin and Katherine Flaherty; sisters, Anne and Mary Flaherty, Patricia Johnson; two brothers, James and John Flaherty. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Most Precious Blood Church.
