Michael T. Flatley, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2024.

He was born on January 10, 1938 in Williston, North Dakota to the late Merle and Orville (Flexhaug) Flatley.

Mr. Flatley honorably answered his country's call and served in the Untied States Navy in the late 1950's.

On July 26, 1964 he married the love of his life, Linda Shimer. Together they raised two children, Michael Patrick and James Dale.

He worked for National Cash Register and then went on to retire as a Real Estate Agent after 50 years.

Michael enjoyed reading, collecting watches and coins, playing chess, and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda; and children, Michael Patrick (Barbara) Flatley and James Dale Flatley.

He was also preceded in death by four siblings.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
