Nicholas Da-Lee Gottwald, 26, passed away unexpectedly July 31, 2024. He was born in Ft. Wayne and was a 2016 graduate of Snider High School. Nick was a warehouse supervisor at Benco Dental Distribution Center. He was a fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and loved his family. Nick is survived by his father; Brian (Joleen) Gottwald, mother; Jacqueline (Andrew Zeigler) Gottwald, brother; Zach (Saige) Gottwald, grandparents; Gordon & Barbara Barnes and Richard & Sharon Gottwald, step-grandfather; Larry (Sheri Riley) Miller, aunts; Jillann Barnes and Kim (Curt) Cornman, step-brothers; Nate (Makayla Whaley) Burns and Aaron (Taylor) Burns, Step-uncle; Jason (Emily) Miller, step-aunts; Patty Wolfcale, Jean (Dave) Fry and Linda (Jack) Christen. He was preceded in death by his uncle; Christopher Barnes and step-grandmother; Valerie Miller. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday Aug. 8, 2024 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Ft. Wayne with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also Wednesday Aug. 7, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home. Preferred memorials can be made to Epilepsy Foundation Indiana.
