Nicholas E. Andrist, 51, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday March 10, 2026. Nick was born in Fort Wayne on May 22, 1974, the son of Elizabeth (Pressefall) Andrist Koeller and the late Edward Andrist.

He was an avid fan of Ohio State and was a former volunteer firefighter with St. Joseph Twp. Nick had an interest in airplanes and studying military history. He enjoyed the time spent with his family & friends and caring for his pet dogs.

Nick is survived by his mother, Betty Koeller and his brother, Jourdan (Stacey) Andrist, both of Fort Wayne; stepsisters, Keri (Will) Swary of Columbus OH and Erica (Brad) Windsor of Tewksbury MA; nieces & nephews, Abby, Jill & Lucy Andrist, Emily & Claire Swary, Eleanor & Henry Windsor.
