Pastor Evelyn Drummond, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday May 17, 2026. Pastor Drummond was an Assemblies of God Missionary Evangelist for over 40 years, leading the ministry Christ for Israel, Inc. Evelyn was born in Indianapolis on July 3, 1946, the daughter of Orthodox Jewish parents. She received the Lord in the mid 70’s and was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis, where she studied pre-law and the Bible. When Evelyn was starting in the ministry, she worked at various synagogues. She then began to travel extensively, speaking in many different churches to help bring the recognition of our Biblical Jewish roots in Christ. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory, a monthly Messianic ministry at First Assembly of Fort Wayne, a weekly Prayer for Israel Group, and teaching at various churches, conducting services. Evelyn ministered to many people over the years and has spoken to hundreds of churches. Her passion is to see the Jewish people saved and the Body of Christ understand their Jewish roots. Over the years, God used Evelyn in healing ministry getting people out of wheelchairs and various other physical and spiritual needs. Funeral Services 11:00am Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Rd. with visitation from 10-11am in the church.
