Patricia Ann Lamar, age 50, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Born on February 24, 1973, she was the daughter of the late David Tinney Sr. and Jane (Nickelson) Tinney, who survives. Raised in Fort Wayne, Trish was a graduate of South Side High School. She enjoyed reading and crafting in her free time. She also loved playing video games. Above all, Trish loved her family. She loved being a grandmother and cherished every minute she spent with her five grandchildren. Trish was a resilient person who faced her medical challenges head on, and always with her sense of humor intact. She will be dearly missed by family and friends alike. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 23 years, Matthew Lamar; children, Amery (Desiree) Tinney and Abigail (Austin Jenkins) Lamar; grandchildren, Ivy, Norah, Vera, Wayne, and John; her mother, Jane Tinney; brothers, Ronald (Cathy) Tinney and David (Nicole) Tinney Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Trish was preceded in death by her father, David Tinney Sr. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorials can be written to The ALS Association in Trish's name.
