Peggy Sue Halsey, 65, of Fort Wayne and formerly of New Haven, died Thursday January 16, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fort Wayne on May 4, 1959, the daughter of the late Robert M. Stoffer and Carolyn (Zell) Sauder. Peggy graduated from New Haven High School with the Class of '78.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Halsey; sons, Rodney Halsey and Detrick Ormiston; grandchildren, Justin, Josh and Jasper Halsey, all of Fort Wayne; sister, Susan Powell of Churubusco; brothers, Robert (Laura) Stoffer of New Haven and Richard (Cathy) Stoffer of Wilmington OH.

In addition to her mother and father, Peggy was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger D. Halsey, and her stepfather Ken Sauder.
