Richard L. Baker, 75, died Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. He was born in Lagrange on June 6, 1948, the son of David Baker, Sr. and Pansy M. (Dekay) Baker. Richard retired as a lineman for the City of Sturgis (MI) after 22 years there. He was also employed as a truck driver. Richard enjoyed the time spent with family & friends, fishing, shopping or talking on his CB radio. He is survived by his son, Duke Baker of Lagrange; daughter, Crystal Allen of Burr Oak MI; grandchildren, Brandon Allen, Shelby Popma, Morgan, Makenna, Marley and Mason Baker, and Cecil Leach; brothers, Dale, David and Jim Baker; sisters, Shirley & Sharon, and his mother, Pansy Baker. Richard was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Jennifer Leach. There are no services scheduled at this time.
