Rita A. Landstoffer, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.
She was born on October 12, 1932 in Monroeville to the late Aloysius and Orah (Reuille) Holthaus.
She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.
On October 6, 1956, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Landstoffer, at Saint Peter's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 2021.
Rita had worked as a teller for Lincoln Bank and First Federal Bank. She and Robert went on to be co-owners of Carl's Tavern for 29 years.
Together, Rita and Robert were members of Saint Jude Catholic Church.
Rita was active in Friendship Club 35, Bridge Club, and Mahjongg Club.
She is survived by daughter Julie (Gregory) Didier; sons Timothy (Susan) Landstoffer and Stephen (Michele) Landstoffer; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Michael; a great-grandson; and siblings, Jim, Bob, Leonard, Roy, Jeanne, and JoAnne.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive with calling from 9:30 until the start of Mass at 10:30. Burial will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Masses to be Celebrated in memory of Rita or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
