Robert W. Hinkle, 40, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital surrounded by his family. Rob enjoyed tinkering and fixing things that were broken and was always willing to lend his hand to help his siblings. If he wasn't tinkering, he was spending time with his dogs or outdoors fishing. His contagious laugh and kind spirit will be greatly missed. Robert was born, October 10, 1983, in Fort Wayne to the late William W. Hinkle and Renee T. (Becker) Hinkle who survives. Surviving along with his mother are brothers, Jason (Sara) Hinkle, Adam (Amy) Hinkle; sister Amanda (Mark) Thrine. Also surviving are nine nieces and nephews whom he adored. Service will be at 1:00 pm Monday, February 5, 2024, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also Sunday, February 4, 2024, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
