Rosalie C. Cummings, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Coventry Meadows Assisted Living. She was born April 25, 1935 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Louis J. and Hilda (McLaughlin) Becker. Rosalie graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '53 and continued her studies, earning her nursing degree from the St. Joseph School of Nursing. She retired in 1994 as an RN at St. Joseph Hospital after 26 years of caring and dedicated service. Rosalie was a longtime member at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where she volunteered. She was devout in her faith and cherished a trip to Rome.

Survivors include her children, Edward Cummings of Indianapolis, Anne (Stan) Cummings-Bridge in Texas, Becky Cummings of Fort Wayne, Therese Cummings in California, and Leo Cummings of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Lou (Robert) Rapczynski in Maryland; two grandchildren and five nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Taitel, and her former husband, Alfred Cummings.

Funeral Services 11:00am Monday January 26, 2026 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation on Monday from 10-11am in the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
