Rosalie “Rose” Franke, age 85, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Canterbury Nursing Home. Born on February 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Magnun) Keller. Rose was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She worked for Fort Wayne Plastics for 27 years until her retirement.

When not working, Rose enjoyed tending to her animals, as she was a true animal lover. She was a tropical fish enthusiast and loved her cats dearly. Rose had a green thumb when it came to gardening and she also participated in a club for growing orchids. When she was looking to unwind, Rose could often be found relaxing in front of the television, enjoying her beloved Westerns.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Anne (Edward) Cochrane and Jason Franke; brothers, Charles (Carol) and Paul (Deanna) Keller; numerous nieces and nephews; and her favorite cats, Leroy Brown and Perry Itsy. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mary (Joe) Fitzgerald.
