Rosaria
Fett
August 29, 1934 – February 6, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosaria Fett, who left us peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on August 29, 1934, in Petrona, Italy, Rosaria made her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was known for her warm spirit and incredible baking skills that delighted friends and family alike. Baking and cooking were her talents-the kids would say grandma's meatballs and her homemade noodles were their favorites. She came from Italy in 1952 through Ellis Island, New York. On August 4, 1959, she married Richard Fett. In 1960 she became a citizen of the United States.
Rosaria dedicated years of her life as a baker at Lincoln Life Café and MCL Cafeteria, where her delicious creations brought joy to many. She was a loving mother to her daughter Michele (Joel) Myers and her sons Tom (Sheila), and Dave (Kim) Fett, and her eleven grandchildren: Jennifer Berning (Mindy Elliott), Matthew (Ashley) Berning, Ryan (Cynthia) Berning, Christopher (Macy) Fett, Tyler (Brooke) Fett, Bethany Fett, Chase Fett, Josie (Mason) Englert, Mya Fett, and Lindsay Parnin, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cherished siblings: sisters Angelina, Maria, Vanda, and Palmarina Perri, and brother Girolamo Perri.
Rosaria was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fett, her children, Alan Fett, Joseph Fett, Judy Fett, a grandson, Talan Fett, her parents, Francesco Perri and Giuseppina Colosimo, and her brothers, Luigi Perri and Antonio Perri.
Rosaria's family and friends will come together to celebrate her life on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons, 1986 W. Cedar Canyons Rd., Huntertown, In 46748. A public visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting balloon bouquets that will be released at the close of her funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to Pace of Northeast Indiana, 2927 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
Rosaria's warmth, kindness, and wonderful baked goods will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
