Rose Mary Lehman, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
She was born on August 8, 1928 in Dickinson, North Dakota to the late Lawrence and Rose (Hatzenbuhler) Roe.
Rose Mary was a 1946 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne.
On June 25, 1949 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Fort Wayne she married Dick Edward Lehman who preceded her in death in 2013.
Mrs. Lehman worked with her husband as an Administrative Assistant at C.A. Lehman & Son's.
She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Pine Valley Country Club, Elks Country Club, Club Olympia, Encore Club, and numerous other involvements.
Rose Mary enjoyed playing golf, bowling, cards, traveling, involvement with the art league, but most of all she enjoyed spending time at the family cabin with her children and grandchildren.
She will be fondly remembered for her love of fashion and collecting shoes, belts, and purses.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Marcy) Lehman, Sandie (Steve) Goodman, Kim (Joseph) Burke, Linda (Greg Baum) Graham, and Laura (Randy) Cronkhite; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold P. Roe; and a sister-in-law, Pam Roe.
Also preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Ariel Graham; 5 brothers; and a son-in-law, Douglas Casper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with a rosary being recited at 2:45 p.m. Entombment will follow the service at Catholic Cemetery
Memorials may be directed to Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community.
