Obituary

Sally Ann Miller, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born in Fort Wayne on February 23, 1935, the daughter of loving parents, (the late) Ralph and Edith (Rupp) Miller. Sally graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '53 and was employed in the Customer Service Dept. at General Electric, retiring after 40 years with the company. Devout in her faith, Sally was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and the ELEX Club and the General Electric Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed many activities, including going to the movies and watching college and professional sports. She was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and was dedicated to preserving her father's legacy as a professional baseball player with the Washington Senators, winning the World Series in 1925.

Sally is survived by her cousins, Margie (Miller) Kallenback, Linda (Kallenback) Ryan. Sharon and Dick Miller, Mary Ann (Steckbeck) Scheffel, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Ralph Miller, Jr., James Miller and Thomas Miller.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with visitation from 9:30-10:30am in the church. Arrangements through Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. The family's preferred memorial are Masses at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
