Sally A. Ueber, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025.

She was born on April 4, 1931, in Fort Wayne to the late Ralph and Rosella (Hageman) Smith.

On June 30, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Sally married the love of her life, the late Paul Ueber.

She worked as an X-Ray Technician for Saint Joseph Hospital and Stat Care.

Sally was a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, where she played the Upright Bass. She also loved to play piano.

She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

In her free time, Sally enjoyed waterskiing and tennis. She absolutely loved her high school and was a proud 1949 graduate of Central Catholic and winner of her 5th grade spelling bee. She was also enamored with all things sports, especially the Yankees; Mickey Mantle; Bishop Luers, Notre Dame, and Green Bay Football; and IU Basketball.

She is survived by her Children, Dr. Robert (Susan) Ueber of Fort Wayne, Mary (William) Seltenright of Auburn, John Ueber of Fort Wayne, Angela (Janel Jones) Ueber of Los Angeles, California, Jean (Timothy) Murphy of Oro Valley, Arizona , Karla Ueber of Harlan, and Anne Ueber of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Stephen (Anne) Smith.

Sally was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Seltenright; and her sister, Shirley Bertels.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Saint Gaspar Del Bufalo Catholic Church, 10871 N. State Road 9, Rome City with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 3:45 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to Masses to be Celebrated in Memory of Sally or Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Capital Campaign.
