Sarah J. Johnson, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born in Decatur on November 1, 1952 to the late Jack and Berniece (Kintz) Hackman.

On August 7, 1976 at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, she married the love of her life, Eric "Ric" W. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson retired in 2021 from Saint Joseph Hospital after 50 years, having worked as an X-Ray Technician.

She and Ric were members of Saint Jude's Catholic Church, where she was active in the church's Art and Environment Committee.

Sarah enjoyed going to garage sales and antiquing. She also loved tending to her flowers and yard.

Surviving are her husband, Ric; daughters, Erin (Francisco) Reyes and Lauren (Christian) Baumgartner; grandchildren, Lucia, Adelle, Jackson, Jude, Analia, Adrian, and Julian; siblings, Deborah (Bob) Ault, Amy (Pat) Smith, Andy (Donna) Hackman; and a brother-in-law, Marc Johnson.

Also preceding her in death were brothers, Sam and Chris Hackman.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior.
