Scot Bartels, age 69, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at his home.  Born on February 23, 1955, he was the son of the late Wallace and Mildred (Mettler) Bartels.  Scot worked for Fort Wayne Metals for 10 years and for Zollner Pistons for 35 years until his retirement.  When not working he enjoyed sports. Scot was an avid golfer all his life.  He also played hockey in his youth.  He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Andrea (Betts) Bartels; sister, Michele (Wayne) Miller; stepbrother, Keith Bartels; and stepchildren, Matthew (Misty) Motter and Tabatha (Nathon) Coulter.  Scot was preceded in death by his parents.
