Scott B. Wilson, 63, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday February 5, 2026. He was born in Fort Wayne on July 12, 1962, the son of Alidca (Cady) Wilson and the late Robert Wilson. After graduating from high school, Scott began a career as a carpenter spanning 45 years, working with J.L. Wilson Construction, Witwer Construction, Strebig Construction and more recently with Schenkel Construction. Scott was well respected in the field and known as a mentor by many. He attended Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was a loyal supporter of Erin's House for Grieving Children, where Scott and Cheryl met 32 years ago as two of the original families. In his younger years, he was accomplished in boxing, softball, basketball, and high jump. He was also an avid IU fan, and per Scott's wishes, the family asks that those attending please wear IU colors to honor him. Scott's family was always his first priority; he enjoyed spending time watching his kids and grandkids in all of their activities. Scott was one of a kind and his sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cheryl Wilson; son, Jeremy (Mike Horan) Brumbaugh of Elmira NY; daughters, Jodi Brumbaugh, Emily (Nate) Metzger and Stephanie Wilson, all of Fort Wayne, and Abigail (Shane) Kerr of Monroeville; grandchildren, Hailey Wilson, Brian Metzger, Levi Metzger, Kamden Kerr and Jaxon Kerr. Also surviving are Scott's mother, Alidca Wilson of Yoder; mother-in-law, Patricia L. Murphy of Fort Wayne; brothers, Robert (Sheri) Wilson and David (Cynthia) Wilson, both of Yoder, Jim (Debbie) Wilson and Mark (Devona) Wilson, both of Ossian; sisters, Peggy (Ron) Ross of Mohammed IL, Laurie (Joe) Vining of Roanoke and several Nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services 2:00pm Wednesday February 11, 2026, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. with visitation on Wednesday from 11:00am – 2:00pm.
